well, hellooooooooo there...
Dec. 30th, 2004 03:35 pmRighty-o then, looks like computer is just about fixed, so i will do another update before it decides to go off on one again (the computer that is, not the update, though thats possible aswell...)
Firstly, may i wish everyone a slightly belated merry Christmas. Would have done this sooner, but have no credit for texting... and, yes, i know i should go out and get some more now i have nice money from nice reletives, but i just know im going to blow it all on something impractical in the January sales that i will hate by the end of Febuary...oh well, all part of being a seventeen year old, lower middle class female, i suppose...
Speaking of January sales, went to oxford street with mum and Jasmine the other day... and spent around £24... on non-sale items!
Not quite sure what the significance of them being non-sale items is, but i thought i would put it in italics anyway. I know 24 quid might not sound a particualrly great amount, but, alas, i am but a poor, jobless teenager, and it''s quite a fair bit to me... especially as a considerable chunk of that went on (yet more) glittery make up... as if i don't have enough already... but it's so sparkly, and i could not resist it...!
Talking of spangly stuff, my lovely parents brought me a v. nice and glittery mirrorball for x-mas, which adds a certain air of 70's glamour to my side of the room, and no doubt will prove greatly atmospheric during the 7 hour club classics show on heart tomorrow. 70's disco rules.
Was it just me or was Christmas telly this year just a bit on the rubbish side? No Wallace and Gromit, no disney animations... still, last chancers on channel 4 was quite good... and this years Hollyoaks story line was a definate improvment on last years... poor Debbie...
Hmmm, what shall i talk about now? i should really be doing some revision right now...
Has anyone done any revision for the moduals next month?
Lalalalalalalaaaaa... the dresden dolls' album really is very good... on of my faveourite albums of the year, i think...
Went and did my work experience interview yesterday. To be honest, i really don't see the point in making us do it again, 'specially as most people my age have already got a job (bar myself obviously...), but anyways... the company hires out disco lights, pa systems and strippograms (wonder if Miss Johnson knows about that one?) and has a grand total of 3 (decidly pervy looking) employees, and apperently is reguarly visited by various pirate radio dj's from stations like "The london crew fm". I am not joking, there is an actual staion called that. So should make an intresting change from working in Argos then...
Barry M nail polish rocks.
Muchly.
