Firstly: Thank you very much for the cds, Chloe. All were groovy, kept me amused on the way to/from strattford, and youre right; the new NIN album is quite discotastic.
Nextly: Strattford. Nice area, manky hotel room, schitzo weather, found a shop that sold nothing but Christmas decorations, how on earth does it stay in business at this time of year?
Thirdly: Top of the Pops. One time British institution, now in two weeks being shunted over to sunday afternoons on bbc 2. Effing disgrace. Why why WHY dont they just sack Andy Peters as chief-of-top-of-the-pops-type-person? I could do a better job than him. Seriously, I could. At least I would'nt try to turn it in to cd:uk and fail miserably. Is this what we pay our lisecnce fee for? I've already had to witness the slow and painful demise of Live and Kicking, I'm not sure I could cope with another of my childhood faveourites going down the pan...
Forthly: would anyone like to come and see this with me: www.burlesquetheshow.com . The person who I was origioanlly going to see it with doesn't seem to want to go any more (to that person: If you do still want to go, do reply to this and sya so, honey). Come on, It'll be fun! lots of glitter and top hats (I brought mine the other day...looks very swish, I must say), which surly can only be a good thing.
Lastly: Chloe again, could you do me the massivest favour ever? I have a distant relative in Australia whose birthday is coming up, and, I was wondering, if its not to much trouble, could you make a mix cd for her? I know it all sounds a bit vague here, but apperently I'm seeing you this afternoon (if I can find Katie), so I will explain more then.
Ta-ta for now, sweethearts.
ps: Sof: walkie-talky? please, at least before you go away.
