Later today (at 2pm), I am due to go to the hairdressers and pay them to try and make my hair go white.

Thing is, its going to cost potentially nearly £100.
!!!
Thats more than I would dream on spending on an item of clothing! And clothing tends to last a helluva lot longer than hair colour.
And even with all that money thrown at them, apparently theres no guarantee they could make my hair go completely white.
As pretentious as it sounds, I don't feel 'alternative' enough with my current colour ( though I know it suits me), particulay as loads if people around me seem to be gaining exciting new hair colours right now, red and black and blue. But Im not even sure white will suit me! and what if it just ends up that crappy pale blonde that is beloved of trendy girls whi wear topshop skinny skinny jeans teamed with vintage scarves and listen to the klaxons (you know thw the kind of girl I mean)? and then look less alternative than before! the other problem with white is that it's a bit of a 'nothing' colour. Pink and Brown and Red are all colours with substance and existence, whereas the point of white is that it's bleached all the other colours of the spectrum out of existence. And (another shallow reason here), what if I don't pull so much with white hair? The most significant thing I noticed when I changed from pink to blonde hair was how many more people were intersted in me. Perhaps thats something related to having a more natural colour? And if I hav ewhite hair, will I be able to pull off wearing gold? My 40 quid 1920's top I bought a few weeks ago and mentioned here has gold sequins down the front. I've only worn it three times! I dont want to have to put it away just yet. but on the other hand, I do want a new hair colour. Yeah, my current one suits me and goes with lots of colours,  but it is a bit on the ordinairy side. And, as I mentioned, i just don't feel alternative enough compared to everyone else when I go out clubbing. Or even when I see an interesting looking person in the street. Wandering around Boots yesterday, I saw a girl with vibrant raspberry pink hair teamed with iridescent green eyeshadow, drawn-on eyebrows and silver trainers. I wanted to go up to her and compliment her on her look, but I felt shy because she just looked so cool and glamourous compared to me, despite me having the more eye catching outfit. Her hair just grabbed attention. Also, its the last ever club bohemia on saturday, and as it is the final one I want to look super amazing. White hair will a) go better with my planned outfit and b)have more general 'wow' factor. But it won't if it ends up the afformentioned rubbishy trendy klaxon fan pale blonde (a sort of half-arsed white, I suppose), so...argh! worry worry worry. Money Money money. Spend spend spend.
Opinions/input, please? I could do with some reassurence/instruction.
