ketchup-tastic
May. 26th, 2007 09:30 pmToday I went on an expadition to the massive 24-hour tescos near where I live. Imagine my joy when I discover there a PLETHORA of new ranges and brand of tomato ketchup recently launched for me to try! Seeing as I consume about 5 times more ketchup than the average person and have it with almost every meal (I exaggerate not), a bit of variety may be welcome. So today, I bought the ludicrously overpriced Hienz Tomato with garlic ketchup (others in the new 'fusion' range include tomato with chilli and tomato with sweet onion), and my verdict on it is (because I'm sure you're all just dying to know...), is it's not worth it. It smells much more garlicy than it tastes, to be honest. But, unless you're a proper garlic fiend (the same level as I am ketchup fiend, roughly), it's not worth the extra money. 5/10.
