Ho-hum, looks like i have to give club bohemia a miss tomorrow, as I cannae find a dancing partner :(. This is particularly sucky as I had already brought a few bits and bobs (including a ridiculously expensive Marilyn Monroe t-shirt) in an attempt to adhere to this months theme. It also sucks as it means I wont get to meet Hinako and admire her new pink dreadlocks :( oh well, maybe next month...

I could always try going by myself, I suppose, though, as Chloe quite correctly pointed out, wondering round London in the dead of night in a miniskirt with only a feather boa to defend myself with is probably not the most sensible idea in the world.

Mind you, since when was I ever that sensible?


Hmmmmmm.


Would anyone be willing to ring my mobile after a certain point in the evening to make sure im not lying in a puddle of my own blood in an alley somewhere? Comment if you can.


In other news, Seafood's site seems to have disapered from the internet. How very mysterious. *strokey chin, strokey chin*.


Lastly, does any one know how I can resurrect a mildly scratched cd? My eighties matchbox bline disaster album appears to be on the blink. Ta!

I was thinking about the mobile phone arrangement. I suppose the club is very near the station. What I would say is; go, take the tube, make sure you get the last one home, and I'll call you maybe at a couple of strategic points in the evening (probably 11.30/midnight, when you'd need to get the tube, and an hour or so later as you got to totteridge and whetstone). Maybe also take a coat and boring shoes to wear home....

But 1, you'd have to keep your phone on you, so you'd know when I was calling 2, drink abit but not too much, you'll want your wits about you and 3, just watch who you talk to mmmmmkay?!

Annnnd with your CD, find someone who can make an mp3 copy for you. Mp3's are made by effectively copying the song, and then deleting every other bit of sound information, not so as our human ears would notice, but enough to make the file MUUUCH smaller. Interesting bonus is that if you have a scratch on your CD, copying it as an mp3 will smooth over all the wrinkles and it should sound perfect. I would, but I can only make wav files atm, which is a straight copy and would leave the scratches in. So maybe Emma or Katie or Chili could do one for you. I'll send you a blank CD if they don't have any.

Excellent. have no idea wheather it's socially acceptable to turn up to a club on ones lonesome (probably not judging by the sneery look given to me by the townie girl reading over my shoulder(im currently at the library rather than home)), but I'll think i'll try it anyway. Would you be up at that time in the evening anyway? I don't want to make you stay awake on my account!

It's socially acceptable to turn up on your own, it just can get rather boring if you're not meeting anybody. Ignore the pikey, they know nothing :D

Sorry! I've been in France all week and I did get your text, but the freakin' charges were ridicoarse, so I didn't text back (as I'm low on credit) :( sorry and I was flying last night, so couldn't do anything anyway. Flying is shit, I don't like it.
