Update on media video and rest of life.

So! Media video, progress has finally been made. I should probably tell you all the plotline, so you have an idea of what youre all getting yourselves into...
Girl is chased across camden by ex-boyfriend. Flash backs: girl walking along, not a care in the world. Cut to boyfriend, on park bench, about TO KISS ANOTHER GIRL!!! (shock! horror!). Girl sees, gasps, turns runs. Boy turns, runs after girl. End of flash back. Girl pauses for breath, sobbing. Takes out photo of herself and boy together. Rips in two. carries on running. Reaches venue. goes inside. watches gig. Boy finds photo pieces. Reaches venue. Goes inside. Swings open door, and... THERES NOTHING THERE!
Lots of intercuts of band performing, obviously.
End.

So. Yeah. tad cheesy, but the best I can come up with.

Cast (so far) is as follows:

SINGER: as yet uncast
Guitarist: Fernanda
Bassist:Emma
Drummer: Kris
Lead female part: Chloe
Lead male part: as yet uncast

Girl who boy cheats with: Hinako ( midnightradio_ ) . Is that ok with you?

 

Filming will probably take place mainly on sundays (kris works during the week) and halfterm. If any one has any problems/questions, do get in touch with me ASAP. Ta.

 

Rest of life:

Not much time left to explain, so I'll do it tomorrow. rargh.

oh, nooooooooooooo, the girl doesnt know the guy's already taken! Probably camden market somewhere. Ok, theres not actually any park benches for you to sit on in camden, but we'll find something! Thank yu for agreeing to take part in this, sweetheart :)

to make it abit more confusing, how about if me/midnightradio/uncast boyfriend be singer ....? only in a different outfit/alter ego type thing? does the singer have to be male or female?

Unfortunately, the singer does technically have to be male. Of course, if I had my way, I'd cast one of you lot as the singer anyway, anfd try to pass it off a some deep, post-modernist faux-polictical statement about the exploitation of gender in the music industry (wtf?), but NO! Mr Royden says it has to look like a normal video, apparently.

I think its too late, to be honest. Thing is, you cant just use any song, it has to be something obscure that the examiner won't have heard of, so they dont have any preconceptions about a video or band image, and it cant be more than three minutes long. Seafood was my second choice any. i wanted to do hanging on the telephone by Blondie originally, but Royden said no, as its just too famous. *sulks*

Too late as in you've already done too much work to start again? Because I'm sure I could find PLENTY of songs by obscure artists less than 3 mins long. I'll make you a CD of the best ones I can find and stick it through your letter box tomorrow morning if you like.
