Online journals are little filters that we each see every one else's lives through, the parts others choose to share with us. That said, we all think we are close, but really we seldom know *a lot* about each other. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away. Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you.

(ps: big, proper update with big, proper, exciting NEWS coming soon)

What's YOUR surname? Fav band? Fav TV Show? Is your entire wardrobe Glam? Do you have any sibilings, and what're they like? What moment changed your life, in your view? And just to be irritating, if you had to choose, ninja's or pirates?

my surname is Wyeth. My faveourite band is the dresden dolls, though I listen to them so much sometimes I get a bit sick of them and have to have a temprary obsession with another band for a bit. I rarely watch tv, mainly because I have the attention span of a gnat in need of ritilin. However, I do harbour a secret geeky thing for animal programs and wildlife documentaries. I love Spring watch with Bill Oddie, I really do! Alas, I wish my entire wardrobe was glam, but alas, some days I wake up 5 minutes before I have to get somewhere, and I have pmt, and I just feel too tired and lazy to have to walk in platform shoes, so I just pull on jeans and trainers instead. It has to be said though, i do usually end up changing later on in the day once I've woken up a bit. I have also been known to get fully glammed-up just to go down the corner shop, so it works both ways. I think a lot of the time its down to the way you wear clothes though, rather than the clothes themselves. Accessories and make-up can do a lot. Also, unlike other 'alternative' subcultures, like goth or punk, glam has a less definable aesthetic (especially for females). When you go to clubs like bohemia, there are people who's inspiration is bowie-esque 70's glam, trashier rachel stamp style 90's glam, manic street preacher fans in leopard print and tiaras, James st James wannabe club kid types, elegant vintage/flapper/burlesque girls, its such a mixture, its hard to define outfits are 'glam' and what arn't. I think anyone and anthing has the potential to be glam, just cover yourself in glitter and make a point of being bisexual :P . I have one younger sister, who, bless her, is a bit of a misfit. She's very much a 'grungy', and is going through a bit of a Nirvana phase at the moment. She reminds me a bit of me when I was that age (even though I was never into Nirvana), whcih worries me slightly in case she ends up with a bit of a self destructive streak like me. But she doesn't talk to me much, so theres not a lot I can do... There are probably lots of moments that changed my life that i can't remember off the top of my head, but one that stands out is discovering club bohemia. It sounds such a shallow, insignificant thing, but it was myfirst expeperience of clubbing, and it was the first time I felt like I fitted in. Its going to sound so sad, but, I remember, one of the first few times i went there, I was dancing and I looked around me and though, 'yes! I have finally found my niche!". Its so upsetting that there are no glam clubs here in sussex, I feel a bit like a fish oout of water when I go clubbing here. Perhaps Im too niche for my own good? Oh, and Pirates, for sure, even though I have a bit of a wierd phobia of the sea...
